I'm looking at a new shingle roof pretty soon, and wanting to beef up the insulation. Most of the house has an attic crawl space with old blown insulation but two additions do not. What is the most effective way I can beef up my whole roof insulation? Should I blow in more in the crawlspace and then put insulating panels under the shingles on the additions? Other ideas?
