Bought my first house December 28, 2005. 740 square feet of just what I need. I met the builder renovating a dilapidated property that actually had a homeless man living in it for 9 years! Sad, but true. I was lucky meeting the builder as he was extremely generous and let me lughtly weigh in on building decisions as the project went on right in front of my eyes as I repaired my credit, lived in another renovation job and waited...for 6 months. The end result is my first house! Nicer than anything I have ever lived in, but also smaller. Very happy camper! Living in a small house is actually very cool. Small bills, small yard (next to BIG PARK), etc.
