ABOUT ME
First book I ever read (according to my parents) was a book from their collection on Interior Design / Organizing :-) First decorating I ever did was moving the furniture in my bedroom at my parents' house around and I believe I would have reorganized the 'whole house' if my parents had let me!
To make a long story short: I have always been fascinated by Interior Design (and architecture) and have always aimed at making my home a safe-place and place I would feel most comfortable in. Even when I travel I take personal & decorative items with me to create a home-away-from-home of my hotel room or rental house.
Seems like others like the way I have always decorated my home, even though it was (and is) often done with simple and or "cheap" items. I was invited by someone on flickr to post the photo's of my home on this site, which looks like fun to me. I love to share my budget-design-ideas and organizing tips with others so I hope you will enjoy my home.
I live in a 'modest' house in The Netherlands. Quite small too (only 120 sq meters on three floors) and the outside (the house itself) is not particularly special, so I won't be posting photo's of the house itself.
